The Kentucky Select Soccer League (KSSL) is sanctioned as a scheduling league by the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association.  KSSL is governed by the Board of Directors which is elected by Member Clubs.  The Kentucky Select Soccer League operates under the organizations own rules and by-laws.  

The Kentucky Select Soccer League was formed in January 1998 at a meeting of seven (7) clubs and has grown from an initial 140 teams to over 300 teams from clubs in Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia.  The KSSL has volunteer age group coordinators (AGCs) assigned to each division.  While the KSSL utilizes self-scheduling of matches, the AGCs currently maintain oversight of scheduling, match results reporting, and division standings.
